Bif gets lost in film for TCM

Our very own direction collective, Bif, have completed this beautiful spot for our friends at Turner Broadcasting as part of the new on-air interstitials for their TCM (Turner Classic Movies) channel. The 60 second film entitled ‘Lose Yourself in Film’ will air across TCM and TCM2 in the UK, Central Eastern Europe and pan-Europe.

The piece needed to be colourful and engaging to appeal to a wide range of potential TCM viewers which allowed for a lot of creative flexibility - exactly the kind of open brief our creatives love. With the idea in place, it was then up to The Mill’s Josh Davies and his production team and art department to build a seven meter squared installation made up of strips of brightly coloured film negative which people would be filmed interacting with. The results are stunning.

Filmed at the Park Royal Studios by Bif and The Mill, the piece was edited in FCP by Daniel Budin and graded in Baselight by Aubrey Woodiwiss.
